are you ready for the Big O?

Two more days to the big grand movie award of the year, yes the Uncle Oscar, or whatever you would like to call it.
So you know what you are required to do before watching it? Predicting, as always!
Here are my thoughts for some possible big winners this Sunday night, curious? carry on right away! :)
(based on the rank of possibility)
BEST PICTURE

1. King's Speech
2. Social Network
3. True Grit
4. The Fighter
5. Inception
6. Black Swan
7. Toy Story 3
8. The Kids Are Alright
9. 127 Hours
10. Winter's Bone

With it, dominating DGA and SGA and almost every awards ceremony this season, I wouldn't be left stammering if this dazzlingly historical picture lost

Best Actor in Motion Picture

1. Colin Firth, The King's Speech
2. Jesse Einberg, Social Network
3. Javier Bardem, Biutiful
4. James Franco, 127 Hours
5. Jeff Bridges, True Grit

There are no way to stop Colin Firth to deliver his Oscar speech, not even a slight stammer. This is a locked in potential.

Best Actress in Motion Picture

1. Natalie Portman, Black Swan
2. Annette Benning, The Kids Are Alright
3. Nicole Kidman, Rabbit Hole
4. Jennifer Lawrence, Winter's Bone
5. Michelle Williams, Blue Valentine

If thing goes right, Portman and her uber famous baby bump will take home the price. Yes, if only Annnette Benning didn't make her 'surprising' win which is you know, possible.

Best Supporting Actor in Motion Picture

1. Christian Bale, The Fighter
2. Geoffrey Rush, The King's Speech
3. Mark Ruffalo, The Kids Are Alright
4. Jeremy Renner, The Town
5. John Hawkes, Winter's Bone

Bale went from superhero to super skinny, this is time to supersize his awards! :)

Best Supporting Actress in Motion Picture

1. Melissa Leo, The Fighter
2. Hailee Steinfield, True Grit
3. Helena Bonham Carter, The King's Speech
4. Amy Adams, The Fighter
5. Jackie Weaver, Animal's Kingdom

It's not that I have something against Leo, it's just wouldn't it be fun, to watch 14-year-old winning an Oscar for her first starring role, or the goth princess and her eccentric speech?

Best Director

1. David Fincher, Social Network
2. Tom Hooper, The King's Speech
3. Joel&Ethan; Coen, True Grit
4. David Aronofsky, Black Swan
5. David O Russell, The Fighter

As a loyal Fincher's fans, his take on the phenomena called Facebook is brilliant. Its about time for Fincher to win an Oscar (after that hurtful lost for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button)

Best Original Screenplay

1. The King's Speech
2. The Kids Are Alright
3. Inception
4. The Fighter
5. Another Year

It's The King's Speech, what could go wrong?

Best Adapted Screenplay

1. Social Network
2. Toy Story 3
3. True Grit
4. Winter's Bone
5. 127 Hours

The world would go gaga if the social network lost for category, it's born to win it!

Well, here it goes for my prediction, how about yours? Beat my prediction, sound off here! :)

xoxo,

C
