Lamborghini Aventador Spotted On Its Way To Geneva

Lamborghini Aventador Spotted On Its Way To Geneva

Lamborghini Aventador Spotted On Its Way To Geneva

When an automaker is ready to unveil their new product, we generally have a look at the styling, and then the specification. However, Lamborghini is trying to be unique, just like their car models. They are the first manufacturer that will bring a mid engine sportscar, as well as the one who start the reverse engineering Ferraris with tractor parts. This tradition will continue with the successor of Murcielago.

Although Sant’Agata has been releasing the mechanical details of the supercar including the pushrod suspension, ISR transmission, and 6.5 liter V12 engine, the glimpse at the design of the car is only a few and far between. The spy shot above was ostensibly leaked from the factory and has been circulating on the internet for some times to give you the best looks at the shape of the car.

The black and white camouflage does a very good job to breaking up the body’s lines, but you still can see some Reventon like fighter jet inspired design here and there on this beast which is expected to be called as the Aventador LP700-4. While it is only less than a month befor the Geneva Motor Show take places and this sports car do its debut, I think there will be more pics coming over.

How Mulally Think About Ford Explorer

Bloomberg said that Ford Explorer should thank Alan Mulally for the stay of execution. When the former executive of Boeing took the lead at FoMoCo, the power that make him able to make a decision on this ancient SUV. Mulally was said that the nameplate might live on, but only if Ford’s engineers could find a serious way to cut the weight and to increase the fuel economy at the same time.

This new car was not only able to fulfil the demands, but was able to offer some large package with much of the same ability on the off road. It means that they will sacrificing the body’s blue print for a unibody design while exploring another engine solutions like the upcoming four cylinder Ecoboost. As a result, Ford will be able to shed 100 pounds from the platform.

Ford has used the same quest for svelteness into the company wide strategy until now, and Bloomberg said that this car manufacturer is now on the same level with other big automakers such as BMW when we talked about the aggresivity of stripping weight from a vehicle. You can see the full story about Mulally’s obsession in Bloomberg here.

All New Honda CR-V Will Come Next Fall

All New Honda CR-V Will Come Next Fall

Honda seems to be hanging their recovery projects to the U.S. light truck market. According to the Automotive News, North America was the only market which experienced sales growth by the company in the last quarter. That six percent increasing was mostly done by the Odyssey and the CR-V, and Honda are praying to be able to keep the momentum up with their new version of the popular CUV.

Yes, the all new 2012 Honda CR-V is reportedly to set its debut by this year’s fall and will get a complete generational model change. However, Honda hasn’t revealed much of the details about this vehicle yet. Globally, Honda’s sales fall by around seven percent, while their operational profit is dropping by 29 percent. They are hoping that by focusing on the light trucks, it will boost their total U.S. volume to 1.28 million vehicles in the end of the fiscal year.

The news about the next generation of CR-V goes to explaining why the 2010 and 2011 model has such skimpy updates. The engineers has managed to bring another 14 horsepower from the engine. The designers slapped with a slightly adjusted grille, but beside that, this vehicle seem stuck pretty much with the 2009 model.
