Tiffany and Yuri perform MC farewell stage on Music Core!

As you guys know, it was revealed that SNSD’s Tiffany and Yuri would leave their positions as MC on MBC Music Core after 484 days due to SNSD’s upcoming Japan activities.

The two girls therefore decided to give us viewers a beautiful farewell gift as they performed a harmonious stage of Baby Baby, a song from artist 4men, on today’s Music Core.

Although it is sad to see them go, don’t be too disappointed. Even though the SNSD members are stopping their fixed program activities in Korea (other than Seohyun), the girls will still be making guest appearances on various shows so it’s not like we won’t be seeing them for a long while.

Also, don’t forget to congratulate Tiffany on her birthday August 1st (tomorrow)!

As she began to cry, Tiffany’s last words were, “I thank everyone at MBC and those who have shown love towards Music Core.” She later added, “We promise that we’ll be returning.”

As Yuri gave her last bow, she said, “Because of Music Core, I was happy every day…We’ll return as SNSD so please wait for us.”



The word from Music Core is that special MCs would be employed while they look for permanent replacements so stay tuned to allkpop to find out who’ll be replacing the two girls as MCs!

Se7en makes his comeback on Music Core!

Veteran solo artist Se7en finally made his return to the k-pop industry with the release of his comeback album and two MVs of his title track Better Together.

Then a couple of days ago, Se7en won #1 on Mnet’s M! Countdown after his first comeback performance, beating out last week’s winner miss A by 39 points.

With Se7en’s title track dominating various music portal sites, his success didn’t end there as he was praised by the fans and netizens for his live vocals during his first comeback stage.

On today’s episode of MBC Music Core, Se7en returned to perform his second comeback stage of the week. He performed his title track Better Together as well as Digital Bounce with Big Bang’s T.O.P. Check out his hot performances below!

SM Entertainment has really prepared BoA’s long awaited comeback well, first with the release of the epic photos, and then having a small teaser of her song played on Music Bank.

A second teaser, this time revealing 10 seconds of the music video for upcoming title track Hurricane Venus, was also revealed on Music Core further proving that her song is going to be incredible and definitely catchy.

Se7en gets praised for his live vocals

After making a hot comeback to the kpop scene through M! Countdown, an MR removed version of his performance is making netizens’ mouths drop.

Adding onto his flawless comeback stage, his title track Better Together snagged #1. Thereafter, an MR removed version of his performance has been floating around online. Netizens are well aware of the fact that an MR removed performance is a great way to measure an artist’s vocal abilities.

Even with the background beats, melodies and chorus all taken out, Se7en performed a stunning live performance even while he was vigorously dancing on stage.

HyunA discovers G.NA album in Japan

Though she’s miles away in Japan, 4minute’s HyunA sent a supportive message to G.NA in Korea.

Her adorable video message was filmed in Japan since 4minute is there for promotions. In a CD store, she finds G.NA’s album and gets very excited as she cheers her on in the video

HyunA and G.NA even performed together on stage recently. HyunA featured during one of the performances and G.NA thanked her for this by saying, “HyunA, who cries secretly, thank you so much for coming on stage for me. I will work hard.”

Fans commented about the video,

Hopefully, they’ll top the charts in Japan and Korea.

4minute’s long awaited Japanese single for I My Me Mine has finally been unleashed today, and will serve as the title track for their Japanese promotions.

Along with the catchy song, the ladies released another song entitled グッバイ (Goodbye) which features a slow-medium tempo song with soothing background music and vocals. Both of these songs are great, and the girls are sure to be successful in Japan.

After being away from the kpop scene for so long, YG Entertainment soloist and kpop veteran performer Se7en has finally returned to the scene on today’s M! Countdown!

With Taeyang kicking things off for YG family’s summer sessions, Se7en brings some extra funk back with dual performances of Better Together and Digital Bounce. Both tracks have enough beats to get you going, but with the addition of Big Bang’s T.O.P in the Digital Bounce performance, things just managed to get even hotter! YG family and Se7en are definitely heating up the summer, so it should be no surprise that they’re already making a name for themselves on iTunes charts.

Today, another weekly episode of Mnet’s M! Countdown, which features many performances from different artists and groups, was aired for the viewers to enjoy.

Besides the big comeback stage of Se7en (featuring T.O.P), legendary group DJDOC and also the special HOMME collaboration of Changmin (2AM) and Lee Hyun (8Eight), other artists put up great performances to showcase the power of K-pop.

Changmin & Lee Hyun’s duet stage of “I Was Able To Eat Well” on M! Countdown

Just recently, Changmin of 2AM and Lee Hyun of 8Eight’s collaboration single of I Was Able To Eat Well was released, soon followed by the release of the full MV.

The two young men, collaborated to be called HOMME, performed their single I Was Able To Eat Well on today’s episode of Mnet’s M! Countdown.

Along with the upbeat tunes of the song, their performance showcased their powerful vocals as the two’s duet was harmonious. Check out their awesome stage below!

The cover shot shows BoA wearing the heavy hair piece that she had previously mentioned on her Twitter, and she’s also wearing some interesting eye makeup.

Rookie group 20star to debut in August

As if 13 members in a band weren’t enough, it seems like we now have a new band with approximately 17 members!

Under TGN Entertainment, a new boy band will emerge with the name 20star. With 17 or so members (the numbers have been wavering from source to source), we know that this will be the biggest idol group in Korean pop to date! The members include A-Run, who has been dubbed the leader of this band, as well as Xeno, Ricky, Dongkyu, Daeyoung, Luie, Dowon, Jaeyoon, Seungtae, Hongmin (Min), Ryan, Shinsong, Shiho, Sangmin, and Hwan. The year of birth for the listed members range from 1989 to 1994, with A-Run being the oldest and Xeno the youngest.

Although only 15 members have been named, there are supposedly more members that will be added to this band. In addition, it has been reported that a member by the name of Noh Taepoong has already withdrawn from the group.

Though there is not yet much known about this rookie group, it has been rumored that they will debut sometime in August.

Davichi releases From Me To You MV

The song was recorded for Cho Young Soo’s All Star Album and was the sequel to the highly popular duet, Bubble Love by MC Mong and Seo In Young earlier this year.

The Wonder Girls are back on Youtube with another new installment of their everyday life!

Back on Youtube with a series(?) called Real WonderGirls, the five girls showcase a day in the life of a Wonder Girl.

In this episode, the girls are shown in Singapore doing, what else other than Yenny’s favorite activity, eating!

Having set their camera on the spinning platform of their table, the girls take turns introducing themselves and acting completely natural. During the video, Yenny gives selca tips to Hyelim and the girls get tricked into believing that Jay-Z would be attending the MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia.

In response to this, Sohee exclaimed, “I heard the Wonder Girls are going!” to which the rest of the girls jokingly name their favorite members.

In addition, after hearing that Katy Perry would be joining them in Malaysia, Yenny bursts out in singing Katy’s hit song I Kissed A Girl and lunges in towards Hyelim for a kiss, kind of. Check out their newest video below!

Nine Muses leader Ryu Sera reveals audition video

4minute’s Jiyoon & Gayoon rock 2 Different Tears on 1000 Song Challenge

4minute’s Jiyoon and Gayoon recently made an apperance on SBS 1000 Song Challenge where the ladies covered Wonder Girls‘ latest hit 2 Different Tears.

They put on quite an impressive performance by also dancing to some of the choreography, and of course the laid back style of the show allowing for everyone to laugh and have a good time.

Even though it was a shorter performance only lasting a minute and 30 seconds, it was definitely a special treat for fans. Check it out!

SHINee makes their comeback with Lucifer on Inkigayo!

The boys of SHINee recently officially made their comeback to the music industry as they released their full 2nd album and MV of their title track Lucifer.

After the album and MV release, the boys soon made their comeback performances first on Music Bank followed by Music Core just yesterday.

On today’s episode of SBS Inkigayo, the boys had their last comeback stage as they finished off their comeback week with a performance of Lucifer and UP&DOWN.

Unfortunately, Minho could still not perform the choreography alongside the rest of the SHINee members due to his recent calf injury.
